Background
I am an Art Psychotherapist with a diverse background.
I have taught English in both Taiwan and Poland, fitness and yoga classes, music and concert band, art workshops, fall protection on work sites, and skydiving. I am also a volunteer online facilitator for The Gatehouse Phase One and Phase Two programs for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

Art has been a driving force in my life since I was old enough to hold a crayon. Though I graduated from my favourite Crayola Caddy a couple decades ago, you will still find the latest pack of 100 crayons on my desk at all times (the ones with the sharpener!).
I take an eclectic approach with clients—typically merging a gestalt viewpoint with some of Carl Jung’s ideas, particularly his work with dreams and active imagination. I incorporate somatic strategies and am certified in Guided Drawing—a sensorimotor approach to trauma work without the necessity of using words to tell the story or, in some cases, even remembering the story. Alternatively, if a Client has a need to work through the trauma narrative, I offer an art and writing based version of Written Exposure Therapy (WET).
I look forward to accompanying people, from all walks of life, on their journey!
